15th November 2011 - Trip Advisor - ''What a find!''

Just returned from 2 days racing at Cheltenham and can't praise Hilden House and, more particularly, Aiden and Shelley who run the place. Their welcome, lovely clean rooms and super breakfasts are as good as they come. Located on a main road but set back and quiet at night it is ideally located for visiting the town, the races or, I'm sure, for touring the Cotswolds. Have re-booked for the racing Festival in March already for myself and my friend from Malta who comes racing here regularly.

24th October 2011 - Trip Advisor - ''Comfort and Convenience''

Comfortable and clean room with loads of hot water and then you clamber into the huge bed. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful Regency room with loads of original features. The breakfast menu provides excellent choice, go for the 'full english' which is cooked to order. Couldn't be more convenient as the centre of Cheltenham is 5 minutes easy walk away. Shelley and Aidan provided a warm welcome as well as useful knowledge of the local area, a thoroughly pleasant place to stay which I have no hesitation recommending to anyone.

Very nice stay at Hilden House. Our hosts were extremely efficient and attentive. Our room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return.

Shelley and Aiden offer a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. They were pleased to offer advice and guidance to make our stay a pleasant experience. We would recommend Hilden House to friends.

We had a wonderful w/e at Hilden House. Shelley & Aiden are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and is in a great location. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden. I thoroughly recommend it.

21st August 2011 - Trip Advisor - ''Hotel of choice in Cheltenham''

I work in Cheltenham each August and this is my second year in which I have stayed at at Hilden House.
Again I have not been disappointed, it is an ideal hotel whether coming for business like myself or spending a few days in the town. It is in a quiet yet very convenient location about 5 mins from the town centre and 10 mins from UCAS and the racecourse.
It is worthy of it's 4 star rating with very comfortable, clean rooms, an excellent power shower that really does work and flat screen tv in my room. The breakfast is excellent and Aiden is a brilliant chef.
Both Shelly and Aiden make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them, you feel like that you are one of the family. In these days of impersonal hotel chains, it makes a nice welcome change to be treated as an individual rather than just a number.
It is now my hotel of choice in Cheltenham and each August when I work in the town I would not think of staying anywhere else.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, it was within walking distance of all local amenities but not bang in the centre of things that you are disturb by any noise, Aiden and Shelley are very welcoming and accommodating.

Fabulous hosts, good location nice airy and spacious room. Hosts very attentive to the needs of the guests and had a sound knowledge of special dietary requirements. Breakfasts were of an exceptionally high quality ( wow, gluten free toast!) and the coffee served the best I have ever had in a hotel!

On behalf of our party of 3 I would just like to thank you again for all your kindness and hospitality during our stay. I am only getting my energy back now to be able to e-mail. We had a great weeks craic and the effort for St. Patricks Day was much appreciated. We wish you much success and definitely look forward to seeing you all again in the not too distant future.

This is one of the best we have had the pleasure to stay in. Nicely positioned within minutes of the city centre. Your host are a fantastic couple who are very friendly, the house is ran with pride and enjoyment. A great place to stay, superb food and a really relaxing "feel at home" atmosphere. In particular we felt the room was superb. When we have used "family rooms" in the past we have seen a huge difference in standards between the standard rooms and the family room that where offered, not here the room was glorious. Highly recommended and would certainly visit again. A really nice place to stay.

I travel extensively for work, and the Hilden House is definitely one of the better places I've stayed. The friendly staff are welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Cleanliness was exceptional. This is now my new go-to hotel when visiting Cheltenham. Exceptional customer service!

The decor and furnishings in both the bedroom and dining area gave a warm and welcoming feel to the place. A very quiet and restful hotel and the food was excellent.
Only wished I could have stayed longer and I will next time I visit Cheltenham...

Excellent B&B - Steve and Lisa could not have been more helpful. A large group of twenty people stayed at the hotel for the weekend - everything went really smoothly from the warm welcome on arrival to the delicious cooked breakfasts. All the rooms were of a good standard with good showers and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk into town. Great accommodation in separate coch house at rear. Very well presented room of highest quality. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast.

November 2011 – Laterooms - ''Excellent experience''
An excellent place to stay in the heart of Cheltenham. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was very good with free wi-fi and freeview TV. Breakfast was of a very high standard and very filling! Location is fantastic- 5 mins walk from city centre and lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
