Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Cheltenham

Here in Cheltenham there are so many events taking place to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee that it is impossible to write about them all. So instead we have picked out our highlights as follows:

Saturday 2nd June, 11 am – 3 pm
Jubilee Fete in Montpellier to include classic cars, slow bicycle race and children’s activities.

Saturday 2nd June, from 11.30 am
Summer Garden Party at Cheltenham Town Hall which will also include the Grand Opening of Skillicorne Gardens, a previously hidden, secret, walled garden together with Pimms, picnics and face painting. For more info visit <ahref=”http://www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk”>www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk

Monday 4th June, 2 – 6 pm
Pittville Park Picnic and childrens fancy dress

Monday 4th June, from 10 am
The Suffolks Street Fair – Stalls and Jubilee themed entertainment

Monday 4th June, 10.15 pm
Ravensgate / Whistley Common Beacon – watch the beacon light up the sky above Charlton Kings
